The Dennos Museum Center, situated within the Northwestern Michigan College campus, stands as a significant cultural hub in the region. Since its inception in 1991, it has garnered attention for its diverse collection, notably boasting a substantial array of Inuit art.

Comprising three rotating exhibit galleries, a sculpture court, and an Interactive Discovery Gallery catering to all age groups, the museum offers a dynamic platform for exploring various art forms. Housing a permanent collection of over 3,100 works, with a particular emphasis on nearly 2,000 pieces of Inuit art prints and sculptures, the museum provides ample space for both temporary and semi-permanent exhibitions.

Dennos Museum Center serves as a vibrant cultural nexus by integrating exhibitions and programs encompassing sciences and performing arts. The Milliken Auditorium, with its 367-seat capacity, serves as a venue for an annual concert series, featuring an eclectic mix of world, jazz, and blues music, alongside hosting NMC and community events.

The museum enriches the outdoor landscape of the college campus with a collection of 14 sculptures crafted by international and Michigan artists. Recognized for its contributions to the arts and culture scene, the museum was honored with the Governor's Award for Arts and Culture by ArtServe Michigan in 2000.
