Durban Botanical Gardens, Durban (must see)

The Durban Botanic Gardens are situated in the City of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. They are Durban’s oldest public institution and Africa's oldest surviving botanic gardens. The gardens cover an area of 15 hectares in a subtropical climate. The gardens were founded to introduce and trial the crops, that can be potentially commercially useful. Nowadays a Cycad collection, a herbarium, a charity tea garden and a a garden for the blind are situated on the territory of the Botanical Gardens.
