St. Thomas Anglican Church, Durban

St. Thomas Anglican Church, Durban (must see)

Built over a hundred years ago, St. Thomas Church is housed in a beautiful, old stone building. The original church was constructed in 1864 and used to be important to Christians living in the Berea District. In 1890 the church had to be moved to a more central location. It is now a beautiful Victorian church built in the Gothic Revival style. Some of its outstanding features include an amazing wooden ceiling and stained glass windows, as well as the church organ.
