Fondazione Genoa 1893 (Genoa Football Club 1893 Museum), Genoa
The Genoa Cricket and Football Club Museum was founded by the Genoa 1893 Foundation in 2009, and since 2013 housed within the scenic 17th-century San Giobatta Pavilion. The museum preserves and celebrates the rich legacy of Italy’s oldest football club, founded in 1893.
With its ten exhibition rooms, the museum takes you on a chronological journey through the Genoa Cricket and Football Club's two-century history. Visitors can explore the club's early days with original jerseys, historic match balls-including the one used in the first Italian championship final-and rare documents like the original founding charter signed at the British consulate.
The club features over 500 artifacts such as trophies, photographs, films, and personal memorabilia. The museum is recognized by Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage for its cultural and documentary significance and has been part of the International Football Museums Association since 2019.
