Gabdulla Tukay Literary Museum, Kazan
The Gabdulla Tukay Literary Museum, dedicated to the famous Tatar poet and one of the founders of Tatar literature and the modern Tatar language, was founded in 1986 in the Shamil House. One of the most interesting constructions of the old Tatar settlement, its collection includes household items, photographs, newspapers and magazines, as well as a variety of personal effects and documents from people in the poet’s life.
