Giardino Elisa, Lucca

The Elisa Garden was approved as a project on June 23, 1812. The garden occupies a long narrow street. The area is delimited by a high wall with no openings to the outside. Now, the garden is crossed by a pathway from which other smaller pathways emerge. The plant species in the garden were added over the centuries, amounting to a quite large selection. There are also different kinds of trees, shrubs, two magnolias and other beautiful plants.
