Honda Center, Anaheim
The Honda Center in Anaheim stands as one of Southern California’s leading venues for sports, concerts, and live entertainment. Originally opened on June 17, 1993 as the Anaheim Arena, the facility made its grand debut with a sold-out Barry Manilow concert just two days later. Over the years, it has become an iconic destination for fans of all ages.
Located at the corner of Katella Avenue and Douglass Road, the arena seats up to 19,200 guests and is proudly home to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Before taking on its current name, the venue was known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, a title it held after a $15 million naming rights agreement with Arrowhead Water in 1993. In 2006, the name officially changed to Honda Center after a new $60 million agreement with Honda, renewed again in 2020 for another decade.
Since its opening, over 45 million visitors have attended more than 4,500 events, including high-profile concerts by Karol G, Peso Pluma, Jonas Brothers, Gwen Stefani, and Cody Johnson, as well as sports spectacles like UFC and family-friendly shows like Disney on Ice.
The arena is owned by the City of Anaheim and managed by Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, under the leadership of Henry and Susan Samueli since 2005. Continuous upgrades have kept the venue modern and fan-focused. One of its major enhancements, The Grand Terrace Project, now known as the Brewery X Biergarten, introduced a 15,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor entertainment space, a 250-seat restaurant, and an expanded Ducks team store.
With more than 500 high-definition monitors and a cutting-edge multimedia system, the Honda Center ensures a world-class entertainment experience for every visitor-whether they're there to cheer on the Ducks or sing along with their favorite artist.

Anaheim Introduction Walking Tour
An integral part of California's Orange County, Anaheim is known globally as the home of Disneyland Resort. The word “Anaheim” derives from a blend of 'Ana' (after the nearby Santa Ana River) and 'heim,' a common German place name meaning 'home', as the city was founded in 1857 by fifty German families.
