Kumudini Handicrafts Centre, Dhaka

Kumudini Handicrafts Centre was founded in 1980. It offers traditional Bangladesh handicrafts of high quality made by local rural women. Kumudini has a developed network of artisans, which involves about 25,000 people from different rural areas. Here you can find embroidered Nakshi Kantha, Jamdani Sari, Dhaka Muslin, ceramics, baskets, wood, leather, bamboo, brass products, vegetable-dyed silk and much more. All of these items bear the cultural heritage of Bangladesh. The Center offers its products for local as well as international markets.
