Established in 1956 and subsequently renovated and reopened in 1990, the Navarre Museum occupies a historic building dating back to the 16th century, characterized by its original Plateresque façade and interior chapel. Extending over 7,700 square meters across four floors and a basement, the museum offers a comprehensive exploration of Navarre's diverse cultural landscape.

Upon entering the museum, visitors are greeted by a modern lobby designed as a spacious reception area, facilitating engagement and interaction. The assembly hall, boasting a seating capacity of 180 people, provides a venue for lectures, seminars, and other cultural events. Additionally, the terrace offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, serving as a picturesque backdrop for gatherings and discussions.

The exhibits within the Navarre Museum span various epochs and artistic styles, offering insight into the region's cultural evolution. Visitors can explore Paleolithic and Iron Age artifacts, artistic treasures from Roman, pre-Romanesque, Romanesque, and Muslim Navarre, as well as Gothic and Renaissance art. Notable highlights include works by renowned Spanish painter Francisco de Goya, including his portrait of the Marquis of San Adrián.

Other noteworthy pieces include a Spanish-Muslim ivory chest, Romanesque capitals, and an impressive mosaic recovered from the Roman town of Ramalote in Tudela.
