During Holy Week, the church becomes a focal point of devotion and cultural heritage. On Holy Wednesday, it hosts the solemn procession of Jesus the Nazarene of the Rescue, attracting large gatherings who accompany the image through the streets lined with intricate, brightly colored sawdust carpets known as alfombras.
