Stadio Porta Elisa, Lucca

Stadio Porta Elisa, Lucca

Stadio Porta Elisa Lucca was first used as a stadium in 1935. Initially, the project included some stairs in order to avoid the possibility of viewing the stadium from the height of the walls of Lucca. A few years later, for different reasons, a curved metal frame was built and it changed the initial project. The trees and the landscape inside the stadium make the property more comfortable and common to the city’s style. The area is covered by masonry brick which is inspired from the walls of the city. The most interesting piece in the architectural profile is the tribune.
