University Botanical Garden Ecopark, Varna

University Botanical Garden Ecopark is the first eco-park of its kind in the country. It seamlessly integrates artificial and natural ecological systems over its expansive 360-decare expanse. Boasting a diverse array of flora, the park hosts over 300 species of exotic trees and bushes alongside more than 100 herbaceous plants. Notably, the botanical garden is renowned for its extensive collection of irises, featuring over 250 variations.

Visitors to this ecological haven encounter a global tapestry of plant life, including sea oaks, tulip-trees, ginkgo biloba, and a myriad of others. The park also houses the esteemed Academic Jockey Club, offering horse-riding lessons and various tours amidst the scenic beauty of the ecological park.

Annually, Varna hosts the Todorov Den celebration, featuring traditional races and competitions, adding to the vibrant ambiance of the park. At the entrance, an information center and botanical market provide insights into upcoming events and offer a selection of seeds and plants for enthusiasts.
