With world-renowned landmarks such as the Colosseum and the world’s smallest sovereign state of Vatican City landlocked within, it is no wonder why Rome is one of the most visited cities in Italy. This 3-day Rome itinerary will help you plan the must-sees for a first-time visitor, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Square as well as its historic district (Centro Storico).

This 3-day Rome itinerary is designed generally to suit first-time visitors.
