Alberta Craft Gallery, Edmonton
Located in the heart of Edmonton, the Alberta Craft Gallery + Shop is a vibrant hub for contemporary and traditional fine craft. Operated by the Alberta Craft Council, the space features two free-access exhibition galleries alongside a dynamic retail shop that showcases the work of over 150 Alberta-based artisans.
Visitors can explore an ever-evolving collection of handcrafted creations including pottery, blown and fused glass, fiber art, jewelry, woodwork, stone, and new media-offered at a wide range of price points. The Feature Gallery hosts three or more major exhibitions each year, while the Discovery Gallery presents over seven rotating shows, spotlighting both emerging and established craft artists from across the province.
More than just a gallery, Alberta Craft Gallery + Shop functions as a social enterprise: 60% of every purchase goes directly to the artist, while the remaining 40% supports the Alberta Craft Council’s artist development programs, public engagement initiatives, exhibitions, and Alberta Craft Magazine.
