Arbuzov Memorial House, Kazan
Arbuzov Memorial House, located in a mid-19th century wooden mansion of a merchant, was opened to the public in 1971 as a memorial museum of academician A.E. Arbuzov, the Russian founder of organic chemistry. The house has remained unchanged since the Arbuzov family lived here from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th centuries. Furniture, a library, paintings, photographs, correspondences, scientific articles, original documents and more can be found in this fascinating museum.
