Artists Gallery, Virginia Beach

Established in 1988, the Artists Gallery serves as both a working studio space and an exhibition venue for local and regional talent. As the city’s only artists’ collective, it has become a cornerstone of the Virginia Beach art scene, offering a place where creativity and community intersect. What began as a small group of dedicated artists eventually grew into the foundation for the Virginia Beach Art Center, which continues to nurture artistic expression across multiple media.

Inside the gallery, visitors will find works by more than 50 artists representing a remarkable range of disciplines. Paintings, ceramics, pottery, fine art photography, mixed media, jewelry, and sculpture fill the walls and display cases, showcasing the diversity of regional art. The open-studio format allows guests to watch artists at work, observe techniques in real time, and engage in conversations about inspiration, process, and craft.

The gallery’s atmosphere is intentionally warm and accessible, reflecting its mission to bring art into daily life. Visitors are often greeted personally by resident artists who are happy to discuss their work or even take commissions for custom pieces.
