Bluemont Park, Arlington

Bluemont Park, spanning 51 acres, is a versatile recreational area offering activities like biking, jogging, basketball, disc golf, and more. The park features a diamond field and three combination fields, both prioritized by permits, along with tennis and volleyball courts and a practice wall that can be rented.

The park caters to families with school-age and pre-school playgrounds, vending machines, picnic spots, multi-use paths, and natural areas along Four Mile Run. It hosts community events focused on fitness, including the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s Walk for the Animals.

Bluemont Park emphasizes sustainable design, featuring natural resource management practices like invasive plant removal to encourage native species growth. A pollinator patch is also part of the park's ecosystem. The W&OD Trail, managed by NOVA Parks, runs through Bluemont Park, which also encompasses Reevesland, Arlington's last operating dairy farm.
