Bowring Park is also renowned for its remarkable collection of statues, each with its own unique story. Among these statues are two notable works by Basil Gotto. The first is a replica of the Caribou monument found at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial Park.The Caribou serves as a poignant tribute to the brave soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives during World War I.

The park is home to two notable statues. The first, called "The Fighting Newfoundlander," was unveiled in September 1922 and commemorates the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, with a special tribute to Corporal Thomas Pittman. The statue was presented to the park by Sir Edgar Bowring to honor the regiment's bravery and heroism.

The park's second notable statue is the Peter Pan statue, erected in memory of Betty Munn, the godchild of Sir Edgar Bowring, and her father, who tragically died in the sinking of the Florizel at Cappahayden. This poignant tribute was unveiled on August 29, 1925, and was created by renowned sculptor Sir George Frampton, who also sculpted the original Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens, London. The inscription on the statue serves as a heartfelt remembrance of the young girl's love for the park.
