Caraccioli Cellars Tasting Room, Carmel

Caraccioli Cellars Tasting Room, Carmel

Caraccioli Cellars is a Carmel winery that is family-run, using grapes harvested from the Santa Lucia Highlands. The atmosphere is contemporary, yet visitors find it very inviting. Visitors taking advantage of tastings have access to an indoor tasting bar, as well as an outside tasting area.

Wine-tasting flights here include a variety of popular types, from Rose to Brut Cuvee and Chardonnay. Visitors are allowed to bring dogs in, making the tasting room an inclusive place to visit. Flights can be shared between two guests, ideal for parties who prefer not to consume as much at once.

The staff provides helpful information on the history of the wines and the wine-making process. Pour sizes are generous so that you're assured of getting sufficient serving sizes. One of the highlights of the outdoor tasting area is being able to do some people-watching while you're enjoying wine samples.
