Cordoba Zoo, Cordoba

The Cordoba Zoo opened its doors in late 1967 and was officially inaugurated on May 15, 1968. Located in the lower part of Cruz Conde Park, it initially covered 8,000 square meters and housed 150 animals, most of which were donated by Juan Barasona. In 2006, the zoo underwent a complete renovation, expanding to approximately 4.5 hectares and adding numerous animal species and new facilities. Today, the zoo is home to 437 animals from 102 different species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles.
