Don Drumm Studios and Gallery, Akron

Don Drumm Studios & Gallery was founded in the 1960s by celebrated sculptor Don Drumm and his wife Lisa. The gallery occupies multiple buildings along Crouse Street and showcases a stunning diversity of craftsmanship. You’ll discover over 500 works by North American artists-from ceramics, glass, jewelry, fibers, and graphics to Don’s signature metal sculptures in aluminum, steel, and pewter.

Don Drumm’s pioneering use of metals, especially aluminum, has earned him national recognition, including awards from the Ohio Designer Crafts and the Akron Area Arts Alliance. His creations-like sunburst sculptures, wall reliefs, and whimsical animal pieces-can be found throughout Akron and beyond. Inside the gallery, you'll also find curated collections such as “The Different Drummer,” offering inspiring global gifts and crafts that echo Don’s high standards.
