Herboristerie La Quintessence, Montpellier

La Quintessence is an herbal shop or herbosterie. It was opened in the beginning of the seventies by Suzanne Robert, a talented chemist awarded with a diploma by the faculty of a chemist's shop in Paris. Strapping Geneviève took over the shop's administration in 1979 and nowadays its owners are chemist Jean Rey and his daughter Géraldine Rey. The selection of products offered by La Quintessence includes medicinal plants, essential oils, dietary and beauty products and teas.
