Loma de Tiscapa National Historic Park, Managua

Parque Histórico Nacional Loma de Tiscapa is a beautiful place and an important landmark for local people. Here the monument of Sandino is placed because this is the spot where he was executed with his men. It has beautiful views: to one side are cathedrals, while the other view looks towards Volcan Momotombo. Here is the crater lake of Volcano Tiscapa. There is a plaque placed in 1996 that is dedicated to all the people who died during the repression from the dictatorship.
