Mohatta Palace, Karachi (must see)

Mohatta Palace is one of Karachi's best-known historic buildings and an important example of early 20th-century architecture. Completed in 1927, it was built as the residence of Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta, a wealthy Hindu businessman from Rajasthan. Following the Partition of British India in 1947, the palace came under government administration and served a variety of official purposes, including as the residence of Fatima Jinnah, before being restored and converted into a museum in 1999.
