Monument to the Fallen in Malvinas, Mar del Plata

Erected in October 1986, this monument is a famous war memorial dedicated to the heroes fallen in the Malvinas war. Created by architect E. Lodi, the memorial translates from Latin as “to remember.” Located at Alberdi and Cordoba, the memorial contains 13 plates on which are written the names of young heroes. Visitors can also see the flame in the middle of it which is eternalin honor of their memories. Since 2007, the town has celebrated the “Day of Civil Participation in the Malvinas War.”
