Oxfam Art Gallery, Salisbury

Despite its name on some older listings, Oxfam Art Gallery is not a traditional art gallery but part of Oxfam’s charity retail presence. The neighbouring shop spaces work together to support Oxfam’s global efforts to reduce poverty while offering visitors a distinctive secondhand shopping experience. Rather than curated exhibitions, the focus is on donated items, with the stock changing constantly as new contributions arrive.

Following a recent refurbishment, the two adjoining shops have separate themes. One is a spacious bookshop with a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, children's books, and art and history titles. The other specialises in music, including CDs and vinyl records, alongside Fairtrade products, handmade gifts, and a smaller range of donated items. Visitors may also come across framed pictures, prints, or decorative artwork among the ever-changing donations.

For tourists, the shops provide an enjoyable place to browse for affordable books, music, and unusual souvenirs while supporting a charitable cause.
