Plaza del Príncipe, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias occupies the square in the historic center of the city. It was developed on the site of the Franciscan Friary garden at the end of the 19th century. It is the work of Manuel de Oraá and Arcocha. It is like a treasure box that contains two statues from Genoa representing Spring and Summer at the entrance, and a sculptural work named Courage by Hanneke Beaumont in 1995. There is also a summer house in the center of the plaza and a fountain.
