Praeg – Atelier für Schmuck und Uhren is a family-run jewelry and watch studio founded in 1848 by Franz Josef Präg. For over 175 years, the Praeg name has stood for fine craftsmanship in the Lake Constance region. Founded as a watch shop, it has grown into a modern, family-run studio led by Michaela and Matthias Praeg, offering jewelry design, watch sales, repairs, and personal advice.

Inside, the atmosphere is calm and clear. Jewelry is displayed in a simple way, allowing details in gold, platinum, diamonds, and colored stones to stand out. The selection includes engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom-made pieces, often shaped by clean, contemporary design. The watch range features respected European brands such as Nomos Glashütte, MeisterSinger, and Junghans, alongside carefully chosen jewelry labels like Niessing, known for its tension rings.

The in-house workshop remains central to the studio’s identity. Goldsmiths and watchmakers repair jewelry, restore older pieces, and service mechanical watches.
