Perched at 2,000 feet atop the Mayacamas Mountains, Pride Mountain Vineyards is a name synonymous with premium winemaking, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality. Founded in 1990 by Jim and Carolyn Pride, the winery has remained a family-run operation, with their children, Suzanne Pride Bryan and Steve Pride, taking ownership in 2004.
The estate spans 235 acres, with 85 acres dedicated to vineyards, enjoying a prime south-facing exposure that sits above the marine fog layer. This unique terroir allows for optimal grape ripening, producing wines with bold structure and concentrated flavors. Winemaker Matt Ward, who joined in 2022, brings experience from Screaming Eagle, Craggy Range, and Atelier Melka, working alongside Steve to craft wines that express the full character of this extraordinary site.
Pride Mountain Vineyards’ commitment to quality has not gone unnoticed. Their wines have been served more than 30 times at the White House across four administrations, and Robert Parker Jr. included them in The World’s Greatest Wine Estates, a distinction awarded to only 22 wineries in California.

Named TripAdvisor’s best U.S. winery to visit in 2013, it continues to earn top reviews for its welcoming experiences. Led by Tim Bouchet, the hospitality team ensures every visit is memorable.
