Founded in 1922, the ocean port is considered one of the largest in the country. Situated south of Cabo Corrientes, the port is also a tourist attraction because of the surrounding areas which comprise the historic and cultural center of the city. This port contains a commercial area with three piers and a passenger quay with a number of beautiful boats dedicated to business and entertainment activities.
