Reserva Natural Puerto Mar del Plata (Puerto Mar del Plata Natural Reserve), Mar del Plata

Situated south of Puerto de Mar del Plata, in a bustling area, the ecological reserve is listed as a place of municipal interest, tourism and relaxation. The landscape offers a large variety of wildlife species, flora and rich fauna which is accented by various species of unique birds. The green area is mainly composed of a lagoon filled up with water and aquatic vegetation, mobile dunes and a mix of indigenous and exotic herbaceous species. Here visitors can find nature in direct contact with the city. The natural reservation has been declared a protected region.
