Riverwalk Church of Christ, Wichita

Riverwalk Church of Christ, Wichita

RiverWalk Church of Christ traces its roots back to 1971 when a dedicated group of believers began gathering. Originally known as Central Church of Christ, the congregation evolved over decades, growing in size and mission before adopting the RiverWalk name to reflect its connection to the nearby Arkansas River and its commitment to spiritual journeying. In the mid-2000s, the church underwent significant expansion, adding new facilities-including a 2,500 sq ft childcare wing and improved entrances.

The RiverWalk Church of Christ building features a modern brick exterior and a prominent spire. The sanctuary includes wood accents and is designed to accommodate both worship services and community gatherings.

Visitors are warmly invited to attend Sunday worship services, midweek classes, or drop by during the week to appreciate the church’s role in Wichita’s historic downtown.
