Beginning at the southeastern end of the district near the junction of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road and Airport Road, you will encounter Zayed II Mosque. The mosque stands on Zayed The First Street, just east of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road and adjacent to the grounds of Qasr Al Hosn.
Continuing northwest, a short walk along Al Hisn Street leads to two of Abu Dhabi's most important cultural landmarks. The first is House of Artisans, located on the eastern side of Al Hisn Street within the Qasr Al Hosn cultural precinct. Immediately beside it stands Qasr Al Hosn, the city's oldest surviving stone structure and former residence of the ruling family.
Returning to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road and heading west toward Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street, you reach The Mall at World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi. The complex occupies an entire block between Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road and Hamdan Street and incorporates a modern shopping mall, the Souk at World Trade Center, office space, residences, and the soaring Burj Mohammed bin Rashid tower.
Continuing southwest along Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road for approximately one kilometer, visitors arrive at Madinat Zayed Shopping Center. Located directly on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road between Sultan Bin Zayed The First Street and Muroor Road, this long-established shopping center is particularly renowned for its traditional gold and jewelry souk.
