Shota Rustavelli Park, Kiev

The Shota Rustavelli Park's opening took place in 2007. A competition for the best project was organized and the winners were Volodymir Imerlishvily and Nikolay Gyauri - sculptors. A talented architect, David Yakobshvili, also won the contest. The design of the park is very special; it consists of rock chairs and sculptures. Shota Rustavelly, the author of the famous "The Knight in the Panther's Skin", in memory of whom this park was created, was a great Georgian poet and philosopher.
