St. John's Episcopal Church is one of the oldest churches in Wichita. It is located downtown but people come not only from the city but also from the periphery. The construction of the church began in 1887 and in 1893 it was already completed, featuring prominent Romanesque style. Saint John’s Episcopal Church is considered a historic building because its history includes numerous dates and events that were important in the development of religious buildings in Wichita.
