Tenuta Torciano, San Gimignano
Founded in 1720 by Bartolomeo Giachi, who moved from Florence to establish the estate in Ulignano, the property has remained in Giachi hands for thirteen generations. Today, Pierluigi Giachi, together with his wife Luciana and their children, upholds the tradition of quality winemaking while adapting to contemporary tastes and global visitors.
The estate is known as much for welcoming, genuine hospitality as for its wines, often described by guests as an authentic taste of Tuscan life-both cultural and culinary. Its setting features hallmark countryside views: rows of cypress, olive groves, vineyards, and gently sunlit hills.
Activities span guided tastings of wine and olive oil, truffle hunts, cooking classes, vineyard tours, and special experiences such as romantic dinners or harvest events.
