Terraza Mirador (Viewpoint Terrace), Mendoza (must see)

Terraza Mirador is the rooftop terrace of Mendoza City Hall in Barrio Civico (Civic District). This place is very popular among tourists, because it offers an unforgettable panoramic view of Mendoza and surrounding areas. This terrace is open to the public every day except Sundays. It also features a specially designed garden with various local shrubs and flowers. The City Hall building was inaugurated in 1969 and since then, Mendoza's citizens and tourists come here to admire the landscapes. Special binoculars are fixed on the terrace to allow visitors up to 50-kilometer of visibility on a sunny day.
