WEIN & CO was founded in 1993 as Austria’s first specialist wine retail chain, with the aim of offering a wide, carefully curated selection under professional guidance. The branch in Bregenz functions primarily as a dedicated retail store rather than a full-service wine bar. Its position close to the Swiss border makes it convenient for travelers exploring the Lake Constance region, especially those arriving by car.

Inside, the shop presents more than 2,000 labels. Austrian producers form the core of the range, from respected estates in Wachau and Burgenland to smaller regional wineries. International wines from Italy, France, and Spain are well represented, arranged by country and grape variety for easy comparison. The range also includes champagne, premium spirits, and a small selection of gourmet products such as olive oils and chocolates.

A refrigerated “Icon Shelf” holds rare and mature vintages at controlled temperatures.
