The Wichita Art Museum offers travelers an introduction to American art. Established in 1935 through the cultural legacy of Louise Caldwell Murdock and her Roland P. Murdock Collection trust, the museum now houses over 10,000 works focusing on American painters, sculptors, potters, and textile artists.
