A History Lovers Guide New York, New York, New York
If you are a history nerd like me, you may want to check out these places in New York city. Many of these sites are indoors and perfect if you are visiting in the colder months like we did.
Initially when I had planned this New York trip, the city history was not at the top of my list but I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to write about some of these really interesting locations throughout the city.
Although some of the New York sites mentioned may not have thousands of years worth of history behind them, I highly recommend you check them out to find out how New York and indeed America became what they are today.
Set in a decommissioned Subway station in Brooklyn Heights, the New York Transit Museum tells the story of the transport system in New York over the past 100 years.
