Centro Cultural Kirchner, Buenos Aires

Situated in Buenos Aires, the Kirchner Cultural Centre (Centro Cultural Kirchner) stands as a prominent hub for artistic and intellectual engagement. Earning the distinction of being the largest in Latin America and ranking among the top three or four largest globally, this cultural landmark emerged on May 21, 2015. The center found its home within the resplendent architecture of the former Buenos Aires Central Post Office, an establishment also recognized as the "Palacio de Correos."

This institution bears the name of Néstor Kirchner, a former president of Argentina who played a pivotal role in its transformation. Spanning nine floors, the facility encompasses a concert hall, five additional auditoriums designed to host theater productions and musical performances, and a remarkable assemblage of 18 halls. These spaces are dedicated to hosting poetry readings, performance art displays, and various other captivating events. Moreover, the center boasts 40 rooms meticulously curated to house galleries showcasing art and history, collectively occupying a vast expanse of 15,000 square meters across six floors. Complementing these offerings are 16 rehearsal rooms and two inviting rooftop terraces.

Accessing the center is facilitated by the nearby presence of Line B and Line E of the city's underground transportation network, with convenient stations at Leandro N. Alem and Correo Central respectively.
