Children's Fairy Town, Sochi

Children's Fairy Town, also known as Detskiy Gorodok Skazka, is a small outdoor area made for young children. It is built around Russian fairy tales and uses familiar characters from folk stories. The space is easy to walk through, with short paths, small decorative houses, and figures placed low so children can reach and explore them safely.

A key feature of the area is a shallow pool in the center. The pool is decorated with colorful mosaics showing sea animals like fish, turtles, and seahorses. Nearby, mosaic paths and low walls form a simple maze with images of fairy-tale heroes and animals. Children can walk through it, touch the surfaces, and look closely at the details. There are no modern rides or moving attractions here.

Around the paths, visitors can see figures such as Baba Yaga, animals, and other storybook characters made from stone and mosaic pieces. Some sculptures look old and worn, but the mosaic pool remains the main visual focus. There are no shows, tickets, or scheduled activities. Most families stop here briefly during a walk, letting children play freely and use their imagination in a quiet, relaxed outdoor space.
