The Church of Our Lady of the Sea, also called the Naval Church, was built in the nineteenth century. The architecture of the building is a combination of Neo-Byzantine and Neo-Romantic styles. The church was built using white Istrian stones. Both the exterior and the interior of the Church of Our Lady of the Sea are rich in decorations. It is one of the top attractions in Pula. Next to the church there is a 28-meter-high bell tower.
