The Economy Shoe Shop, opened in 1995 by David Henry and Victor Syperek, has grown into one of the most popular lounges and live music venues in Halifax. With the addition of the Backstage, the Diamond Bar and the Belgian Bar, it now hosts monthly art shows and popular jazz concerts each week. Its interior is stunning and a great menu of drinks and food is also available.
