Essex County Courthouse, Newark
Essex County Courthouse can be found in the center of the city, at 50 West Market Street. The building was constructed by Piccirilli Bros., Cass Gilbert in Renaissance Architectural Style. This historical building dates back to 1906 and features fine marble columns, ornaments and a glass-domed roof. At the main entrance you will see statues depicting "Truth" and "Power", and nine allegorical statues over the pediment.
