Ethnography Museum is a very interesting place to visit. It was established in 1984 in a beautiful neoclassical mansion. The museum offers two levels and a very extensive collection of artifacts, carpets, traditional costumes and ornaments, photographs and other memorabilia. Additionally, the museum is very famous for its reconstructions of house rooms and workshops from 19th century Izmir.
