Katy´s Garage, Dresden

Katy's Garage, located in the lively Neustadt district of Dresden, offers a unique and diverse nightlife experience. Opened in December 2001, it was set up in a building that used to be a tire workshop called 'Geneuß' at the corner of Louise and Alum. The name "Katy's Garage" is inspired by its fun, car-themed decor, which includes old car doors, exhaust parts, and even a red Mini Cooper on the roof.

This club is popular among a wide range of people thanks to its variety of entertainment options. Mondays offer discounts for students, Tuesdays are all about alternative music, and Wednesdays are popular with those over 30. The rest of the week features different types of entertainment to cater to everyone's tastes. The bar and dance floor are designed to match the overall car theme, making the space feel cohesive.

Katy's Garage is also set up to host private events, with a separate lounge available for rent. Upstairs, there's a smoking lounge with foosball tables and restrooms. From April to October, the beer garden is open, providing a relaxing spot away from the city noise. It has a drinks bar and a grill, serving everything from traditional local sausages to vegetarian dishes. Guests can relax on sun loungers and beach chairs, enjoying drinks like Radeberger Pilsener or Aperol Spritz.
