The Lavit Gallery in Cork City is a well-established and highly regarded gallery that has been promoting and selling local, national, and international artists' work for over 50 years. As a not-for-profit registered charity that operates as a commercial entity, the Lavit Gallery is dedicated to promoting the arts and supporting emerging artists.

The gallery is located on the ground floor of a repurposed maltings building that also houses two other Arts organizations, Backwater Artists Group and Cork Printmakers. The bright, open space gallery is flooded with natural light and showcases strong architectural forms from its historic past, offering the perfect space to showcase contemporary art.

The Lavit Gallery on Wandesford Quay is the oldest established gallery in Cork City and boasts 800 square feet of exhibition space over two floors. The gallery showcases the work of familiar and emerging artists in a variety of media, including painting, print, sculpture, and ceramics. The Lavit Gallery has a busy calendar of exhibitions and regular showings by sought-after artists such as James English R.H.A, Wendy Dison, Brian Smyth, Ana Duncan, Arthur Maderson, Victor Richardson, and Sandra Bell.
