Le Master Homme, Nice
Master Home is a long established nightlife venue dating to 1978. Set beside a historic courthouse square, its terrace provides a lively place for an apéritif and people watching. The Anglo style decoration reflects the venue’s pub identity, while its long presence in the historic quarter has made it a familiar part of the local social scene.
The drinks selection includes numerous beers, cocktails and more than 50 wines, with particular attention given to bottles from independent producers. The food includes
Corsican charcuterie, meaning a selection of cured meats such as ham and sausage prepared in the traditional style of Corsica. Regional cheeses and sharing plates add further Mediterranean flavours to the pub setting. Some venue listings also mention a tradition of serving homemade snacks with drinks during the apéritif.
The interior includes two bar areas, helping the venue shift from a relaxed lounge atmosphere to a busier evening setting. Live music and DJ sets provide much of the entertainment, while major sporting events are shown on large screens inside and near the terrace. Older listings also describe a daytime tea service with around 20 varieties, revealing another side of the venue’s changing identity.
