Lunapark, Ankara

Ankara Luna Park is situated within Gençlik Parki, a public park right across the street from Ankara's main train station. The park's lake is beautifully illuminated at night, and the vibrant colors and lights from the Luna Park rides add to the charming atmosphere.

Although Luna Park itself is relatively small, it offers a decent selection of rides. The standout attractions include two roller coasters: a Mack powered coaster and a rare SDC Galaxi known simply as "Galaxi," which provides an exhilarating, albeit intense, ride experience.

Within the park, you'll also find a Ferris wheel that offers delightful views of central Ankara, various flat rides, and a haunted house. Similar to many dark rides in Turkey, the scares in the haunted house are not particularly intense, but the clanking noises as the ride car descends between its three levels can be quite unsettling.

In summary, Ankara Luna Park is a small yet enjoyable park. It's important to note that half of the park closes for the season in early September, and not all rides will be available after that time.
